Laura

I climbed a tree and could not get down.
So my sisters called a fire truck to get me down.

I like singing and hairdressing. But I don't sing as much as I hairdress.

Oh, yeah, I hate ducks. And I still hate ducks. And I despise ducks. And I detest ducks. And I loathe ducks. And I disfavor ducks. And I abhor ducks.

Why do I hate ducks? Because they are not chickens.

(Thanks to Lily for lending me her thesaurus.)

By the way, I'm a "Corine Marie" in the Laura Ashley doll line. I was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I ended up coming into my mommy's arms on August 23, 2003 as her first 18-inch doll.

I did get lost though, sometime in July 2005. I was found February 8th 2006. Can you guess wear I was hiding?
...
Give up? I'll tell you. I was under my mommy's mom's bed between the headboard and the mattress. I'd gone there to get singing lessons. Luckily, I had my laptop so I could still go online.

Here are some poems I wrote:

Roller Skates
There once were two roller skates,
Who were not each other's mates,
But since they weren't pairs,
They had their own cares,
So that's all and that's it,
So let me tell you the story of mitt.

I wrote this poem about waiting for my friends to get home from school. It's written from both my perspective and theirs.

3:59
Three fifty nine, that horrible time,
Waiting for two girls,
Like little pearls,
Waiting for the bus,
Not to make fuss,
Awaiting a friend,
We love to pretend,
They are coming fast, fast,
Coming at last!

Waiting to get home,
And play with friends alone,
On this bus I sit,
Home is the place I fit,
Away from this school I go,
Away from the show,
Finally, four o'clock has come,
Finally, school hours are done!

Here's a poem about when I got lost:

I went to get singing lessons
Sometime in July
When I heard my mother
Was starting to cry
I meant to come home
On Christmas morn
And then I knew
I didn't have a calendar
I was a little late
I came back on February the eighth
And next thing I new
I was in my Mom's room
being hugged
And loved
As much as I could be
And that's the end of my story.

Come to my ballet!

See you later! Bye!
